ABOUT

At Keep Moving Forward Consulting, our lead therapist, Dr. Nicole O. Crawford, brings over a decade of experience as a licensed professional in the mental health field. She is not just a clinical therapist but a wellness architect and the visionary behind our practice. Keep Moving Forward was created with a simple mission: to support, educate, and empower clients on their journey to wellness.

Dr. Crawford has extensive experience in counseling clients who face mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career concerns, and life transitions. She employs a strengths-based, solution-focused approach, believing therapy is a collaborative effort. We offer space and time to work on your identified goals, helping you navigate the complexities of mental health to achieve personalized wellness.

As a seasoned educator and advocate, Dr. Crawford has designed and led training programs on critical issues such as Alzheimer’s disease, emergency preparedness, and caregiving. She is also a dedicated supporter of caregivers. Having been both a family caregiver and a paid caregiver herself, she understands the beautiful but challenging path of caregiving. She uses her firsthand experience to assist caregivers in learning about and defining their roles, navigating health systems, setting boundaries, and prioritizing self-care.

Additionally, Dr. Crawford champions intimacy and family dynamics, specializing in conflict resolution. She leverages her extensive experience to combat ageist beliefs and address the unique needs of the aging population through research, educational presentations, and individual consultations.

At Keep Moving Forward, we listen to you and meet you where you are. We build on your resilience and provide you with the resources needed to support your journey to wellness. We offer confidential phone or virtual sessions, flexible scheduling, and online payments. We accept some insurance plans.

Thank you for choosing to start your journey with us. I encourage you to Keep Moving Forward!
